	If your operating system is Pre-XP: First click Start, then Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, then Scan Disk.   Windows XP If you are using Windows XP, there is a different way to run Scan Disk.
Double-click on "My Computer" then using your right mouse button click on drive C:\, then click Tools, then click on the "Properties".
